Establishing Ubuntu Centre for Peace and Strategic Studies (UPSS) as a Non-profit organization
that works to strengthen principles of research on peacebuilding and social justice. Thus, UPSS is
committed to engage and motivate the youth interventions in peacebuilding, conflict resolutions
and development.
Ubuntu centre can be an impactful way to foster research, education, and community engagement
on issues related to homegrown peacebuilding and conflict resolutions. We consider peace and
development as two sides of the same coin; with peace being a precondition for societal
development and progress, including economic, political, and human dimensions, which in turn is
crucial for bringing about durable peace and stability. The Centres overall objective goes beyond
the analysis of how to break the conflict trap and includes an investigation of how the peacedevelopment nexus can be promoted. Also focuses on national questions of building new Sudan
that respecting human rights and peaceful transformation of power.
UPSS centre believes in where individuals and communities resolve conflicts peacefully and foster sustainable development for a better life for all.
